Search for custom t-shirt printing in Washington and most results are shops that take a file and hand back boxes a week later. We work the other way around. The press comes to your event and each shirt is made while the guest waits, and that wait runs about two minutes.
Custom tees made during the event
At a DC convention or fly-in, that changes what the shirt is. The delegate picks a size, maybe adds a state or chapter line, and walks back into the session wearing it. Nobody has to guess a size curve months ahead, because the blanks come in XS–4XL and get printed to order.
What we can print
- T-shirts in a full size run, printed by screen or DTF.
- Hoodies and crewnecks for fall conventions and cool spring evenings on the Mall.
- Caps at the live hat bar.
- Totes and hard goods from the promo station.
Screen or DTF for a custom shirt?
One design in a few colors for a big crowd is a screen-printing job. Full-color art, photos, or a different name on every shirt is DTF. Plenty of DC events use both.
Numbers to plan with: up to 60 shirts an hour per press, and most events land at $5K to $15K all-in (see pricing). Ready to price yours? Send the date and headcount.
Planning notes
Before the tees get printed
The blanks, presses and heat presses ship freight from our Fullerton shop to arrive before load-in, and the crew flies in a day early to set up and test. Art is locked about a week before the event so screens and transfers are ready when the gear leaves.
