Space, power and a way in. Each station takes about 10×10 ft of floor and two dedicated 120V/20A circuits. We bring the presses, dryers, blanks, tables and crew. The room brings the rest.
The short checklist
- Floor. About 10×10 ft per station, level, with room for a line that doesn't block a door or a service lane.
- Power. Two dedicated 120V/20A circuits per station. In a convention hall that's an electrical order placed through the venue before its deadline. In a hotel ballroom it means confirming catering isn't on the same circuit.
- Access. A dock or a freight elevator for road cases. If the only way in is a staircase, tell us early.
- A load-in window in writing. At Walter E. Washington Convention Center that's a marshalling slot and a dock time.
- The venue's rules. Labor, material handling and insurance requirements differ from building to building. We work inside the venue's rules, so send us the requirements.
Outdoor DC events
Summer here is humid, so an outdoor station needs a tent, weighted tables and a dry spot for the blank inventory. Spring events around cherry-blossom season can run cool and breezy. Send the site plan and we'll flag power or cover problems before we quote.
